These strategic and business model decisions are important. But how does an organization come to those decisions? And once decided, how is the company run? Ultimately, I believe growth is determined by the people you hire, the processes they develop, and culture you choose to build and sustain.
So that got me thinking about key ingredients I believe help grow a company..."
Quick thought bites from Sam Decker. The Journal article was a classic rehash of the Chinese menu of strategies business people face as they make decisions. You can find a raft of books that promote every strategy and a raft of books that trash every strategy. Regardless of strategy, success really boils down to what Sam notes: the people in a company and whether or not they feel valued.
