Welcome back. Sorry to miss last week but I was out in California all week and on a plane Saturday when this newsletter would have gone out. And there was no time to post Monday or Tuesday this week due to project deadlines.
In the past two weeks, however, there have been a number of good stories that I did find and post: 11 Small (Mac) Utilities for Designers; PixIcons: Neat Pixel Font Icons for Free; Meandering from Template Design to Feminine Design (a great set of links to free templates from blogging sites); Fully Arabized Internet has some way to go; Webmaster eludes China's crackdown; What Time is It? (neat way to do an online clock); Design Eye for the Usability Guy (usability guru gets makover); Rent A Coder: An Alternative Way to Get Software Programming Done; and VPSpro.com: Free Software To Help You Analyze Your Idea and Write Your Business Plan.
At the end of this week, I also found a few leads to good software tools at Gadgetopia that I want to test later. For now, you might be interested to look for yourself: WordPress (a weblogging tool with lots of good features, including import tools for the most common weblogging tools); silverorange (intranet app), and IdealBB (industrial strength bulletin board).
If you're in the US, enjoy the long Memorial Day weekend, the beginning of summer. I'm not going anywhere in the next seven days so I'll see you here next week. Thanks for reading and visiting!
Tim
