It appears we might move out to California later this year or next, to be near family and escape harsh winters, so one item in particular jumped out at me this week, Across the Western Prairie, Bane of Ranchers Resurfaces: Rustling Cattle. It appears that if we drive through cattle country on our way to California we can pick up some free steers to feed our hungry children.
More seriously, there were many items this week that are worth a read and worth a bookmark: Stocks and Flows in Online Communication is an excellent thought piece about the overall dynamics of the online experience; Chat, Copy, Paste, Prison is a good primer on the legal issues around using chat logs; Punctuality Pays: The Economic Cost of Lateness takes a simple cultural quirk and shows how much it truly costs (billions of dollars); and Card Sorting: A Definitive Guide is the first article in a series about this useful technique for generating customer requirements for a website or other internet project.
Thanks again for visiting and reading this week. You're welcome to forward this email newsletter if you know someone who might benefit. I'll be back next week.
