"Networks In Motion Inc., an Irvine, Calif., company, has developed a new product called "Phone Locator" that it hopes to bring to the market later this year with Verizon Wireless and Sprint PCS as a $5- to $10-a-month premium service. Once a program is downloaded to the phone, parents can use a password-protected website to page the phone to transmit its GPS location, which shows up on an online map." Great in-depth article from the Boston Globe about how parents use technology to connect with their kids.
