If you're a coder or designer and want an interesting web page design to reverse engineer, check out Elastic Lawn, a sample CSS and XHTML compliant design from css Zen Garden. Besides a liquid design, it has terrific use of transparency, background images, and a few other things. Includes link to html and css files. Found while reading Elastic Design, an excellent article on issues related to liquid designs and measurement units in CSS.
