"The Web browser is probably the most frequently used category of software in the world. But in recent years, the browser most people rely on -- Microsoft's Internet Explorer -- has been stagnant, offering very few new features." Hear, hear. That's why I'm a devoted fan of the Firebird browser: who needs IE? Walter Mossberg at the Wall Street Journal has a column on tabbed browsing and better browsers than IE. Unfortunately you have to be a paid subscriber to read his column. And he only links to two of the browsers.
But Mossberg does mention these tabbed web browsers to consider and so I've dug up their URLs (and will put them on my Resources page on this site): Safari (which comes with Mac OSX), NetCaptor (Windows), Avant, SecureIE, Opera (Windows, Mac, Linux, Psion, even OS/2), Firebird, and Camino (Mac).
