Creating a Pixel Font from scratch

"I like designing fonts. I like designing pixel fonts. I don't like how difficult it is to get them to work. For this reason, i've written a short guide to creating cross platform pixel fonts." Good article on how to create fonts with Font Creator Program, a much cheaper competitor to Fontographer. From iamcal.com. His site also has a small set of pixel fonts. Found through waxy.org/links, a good source of neat links.
