WakkaWiki Software
WakkaWiki is an excellent PHP/MySQL wiki software tool that includes the basic features, including comments. It outputs valid XHTML/CSS and RSS. I’ve installed it for testing and found the install script worked well and that it is easy to operate. Looks like a good candidate for a lightweight wiki (as opposed to one that has sub pages, forms, and other high end functionality). I also can’t tell how effective support is although the documentation is mostly good and they do have bug tracking. The install instructions, however, fail to note that one file is created by the install process; instead it says to chmod that file which I’m sure leads people on a frustrating chase. I found the solution, though, in the comments for the installation page on their site.
