DSL Dominates French Broadband Market

"A September report from Point-Topic indicates that the number of high-speed digital subscriber lines (DSL) in France rose by 49.3% between the end of December 2002 and the end of June 2003.

To help put these Point-Topic numbers into greater perspective, eMarketer, in its Broadband Worldwide report, projects that there will be 3.5 broadband households in France by the end of this year. By 2005, estimates eMarketer, there should be 6.6 million broadband households in the country. eMarketer notes that DSL will continue to dominate the French high-speed market." From eMarketer.
