Spam: This Time It’s Personal

“Markley isn’t a spammer, he’s a graphic artist. He was the victim of a con artist who sent thousands of spam messages carefully crafted to appear as if they had originated from Markley’s domain.” Great story about how one guy fought back. It also makes the connection between spam and identity theft (in this case, a domain name, in most cases, your email address); few journalists make that connection. However, it shows individuals are sorely outmatched. From Wired.
