Second article I’ve seen about the uses of data exhaust from file sharing services. As long as the data is de-identified, movie studios and record companies could use it to get a much more immediate and clear idea of what people like. The movie also looks to be alot of fun. While the article includes a link to the movie trailer, the link is to their mother ship, Lycos, and the trailer is hard to find. Better to use Google. From Wired.
