Irish projects vie for top e-gov awards
Irish projects vie for top e-gov awards: “Three Irish e-government initiatives are in the running for a prestigious European award. On-line offerings from the Revenue Commissioners, the General Register Office and Reach have been selected to be exhibited at the 2003 eEurope Awards for eGovernment, which will take place in Italy this July.” The three projects are interesting: file your taxes online, civil registration for birth/marriage/death records, and an intra-government messaging service. (The trip to Italy sounds wonderful, too!) Found on ElectricNews by way of Wired.
