About this Website

Who publishes this website? My name is Tim Slavin. I am a long-time business writer with a technology bent who has written mostly for major corporations. My wife and I run a writing business, Red Horse Communications, LLC. This website is a way for us to package our internet knowledge.

I also have built over 70 websites, email marketing, and other internet projects since 1995, either doing all the work myself or managing staff and vendors. One of the websites won a major CIO.com 50/50 Best of the Web award in 2000 as well as a number of healthcare industry awards as an excellent example of how health care companies could use the internet to support their diverse stakeholders. I have been online since 1988.

In short, I have hands on experience with the full web and internet marketing lifecycle, from customer need to requirements definition, design, programming, launch, promotion, and measurement of results.

This blog is a free add-on to Red Wrangler, a way to expand and make that service more useful. The Red Wrangler service exists because there are no comprehensive tools for solo web designers with multiple clients, tools that combine in one easy to use space tools to publish websites, capture Contact Us page leads, and store logins to third party tools like Google AdWords, shopping carts, and email delivery services.

Publishing this website is a way for me to share my knowledge and to learn from visitors like yourself.
