Interland’s New Hosting and Marketing Services

Interland’s New Hosting and Marketing Services: “Interland, a provider of Web hosting and online services for small and medium businesses, this week launched Interland Business Solutions, a suite of tools designed to help small businesses build, manage and promote an online presence.” From SmallBusinessComputing.com. I posted another weblog entry early this week, a NYTimes.com article about Dan Bricklin and his Trellix products now they’ve been bought by Interland. The new Interland offerings appear useful as a start point for a small business. But I still find their hosting rates too high for too little functionality (although many businesses might not need more than what they offer). I also would be wary of thinking that Interland tools are all you need to market your internet project. For example, I don’t see anywhere that they help develop internet plans, a critical component to any website or email newsletter effort.
